How Thick Can Pumped Liquids Be?

PDI pumps can operate with liquids containing solids of up to 41mm, making them perfect for use in sumps and mud slurries.What’s more, no damage results from dry runs – i.e. ‘snore mode’ or intermittent operation due to no water/liquid.
Pressure surges are absorbed by the surge chamber at the inlet, so users can expect a smooth pumping action and little wear and tear. All transmission system components are greased on an ongoing basis thanks to the unit’s innovative oil-bath lubrication system.
