When there is serious material to shift, carrying capacity matters. So does what happens at the end of the run. Tight working areas, changing tipping positions and difficult ground can all slow the job down.
This month, we are putting the spotlight on the Morooka MST130CR: a tracked dumper that combines a 13,000 kg maximum payload with a 360-degree rotating upper body. Big payload. Smarter moves.
A different way to approach the tipping point
The MST130CR’s rotating upper structure allows the cab and dump body to turn independently of the undercarriage. That gives the operator more choice over where to place a load, without having to turn the tracks for every change of direction.
On a site where room to manoeuvre is limited, that flexibility can make a real difference. Position the undercarriage for the working area, rotate the upper body towards the discharge point and place material to the side. It is a practical advantage for earthworks, infrastructure and other jobs where the site layout keeps changing.
13 tonnes of carrying capability
With a maximum payload of 13,000 kg and a heaped body capacity of 6.6 cubic metres, the MST130CR is built for substantial material movement. It brings the capacity needed for demanding work together with the flexibility of a fully rotating carrier.
Wear-resistant Hardox steel helps protect the inside front of the dump body, while its reinforced design is built for repeated loading. For contractors moving material day after day, durability matters just as much as the headline payload.
Rubber tracks for demanding ground
Broad, 800 mm rubber tracks spread the machine’s weight across a large footprint. The brochure lists ground pressure at 35.8 kPa empty and 64.6 kPa loaded, making the MST130CR a machine to consider when ground conditions are a key part of the brief.
From civil engineering projects to work around waterways and remote infrastructure, choosing the right carrier starts with understanding the ground and the route. Cautrac can help you assess how the MST130CR fits your application.
Control that helps the working day flow
Electronic joystick control and a large touchscreen put the machine’s main functions close to hand. A 360-degree camera system helps the operator check the surroundings, while the ROPS/FOPS cab provides a protected working environment.
Super slow mode supports careful positioning when fine control is needed. Power comes from a 210 kW Isuzu engine meeting EU Stage V emissions standards, with automatic deceleration that lowers engine speed after the controls have been left in neutral for a period, helping reduce excess fuel use and noise while stationary.
